| Re: State Regulations Drive Up Health Care Costs: Study Makes sense. Anytime a new regulation is enforced, it requires manhours to ensure compliance. Increased manhours = increased costs which is logically passed on to the consumers. Just look at what JCAHO requirements have done to the paperwork load on nurses and other healthcare orgs. |
