    PDA software preference

I just purchased a PDA, and I'm wondering what drug software anybody has found to be the most helpful. I am a nursing student, and I'm mainly concerned with if I should use epocrates or Davis's Drug Guide for Nurses (the book our nursing school recommends). I have downloaded both of the free versions and cannot decide which to use. Does anybody have any suggestions?

    Thanks!

    Re: PDA software preference

I am a nursing student in Southern Idaho. I purchased a PDA so I could load various software for school and not have to carry reference books during clinicals. I found this very helpful because it was difficult at times to keep track of the reference books. The required book for us are lab/diagnostic reference, drug guide and my med/surg pocket guide. I purchased Mosby's 2005 drug software and i really like it. I also purchased a lab manual and Lewis med/surg guide by Mosby. I recently purchased a 2006 IV drug book which shows compatabilities or incompatabilities really well.
You will find that the PDA is an invaluable tool for reference.
