Hi. I am new here and I am currently in school to become a nurse. I am looking for some source for scholarships for nursing programs. does anyone know of any? I did find some on http://nursingresources.org but any more would be greatly appreciated. thanx

A trip to your library and some elbow grease will find you more schlarship applications than you will take the time to fill out.

There is a great need for nurses and scholarships out there. I'd start at the library first, then look in the phone book and contact your local hospitals, nursing homes and nursing associations. Most of them will have some types of programs in place.

You can also try individual nursing schools. Many have scholarship information online.
