| 'Nurse' nothin' but a nurse, says Albany bill ALBANY - The title "nurse" would mean just what it implies under new consumer protection legislation advanced yesterday by the state Senate. The measure, sponsored by state Sen. Nick Spano (R-Yonkers), addresses the pitfalls outlined by the Daily News last August in a hard-hitting article called "Scandal of the Baby Nurses" that exposed how New Yorkers are often duped into hiring unregulated "baby nurses." I wonder how many states have any laws protecting use of our title? Does yours?
