'Nurse' nothin' but a nurse, says Albany bill

ALBANY - The title "nurse" would mean just what it implies under new consumer protection legislation advanced yesterday by the state Senate.
The measure, sponsored by state Sen. Nick Spano (R-Yonkers), addresses the pitfalls outlined by the Daily News last August in a hard-hitting article called "Scandal of the Baby Nurses" that exposed how New Yorkers are often duped into hiring unregulated "baby nurses."

It sounds good that they're doing something to regulate the title "Nurse" doesn't it? I wonder how many states have any laws protecting use of our title? Does yours?
