    Stay away from Medstaff

Stay away from Medstaff if you know whats good for you. They are very unprofessional, always mess up your paychecks, hold out on any bonuses you are promised, and are all around idiots! I'll never work for them again, nor would I recommend them.

wish I would of found this first before I went on a job with them.

They messed with my pay, my bonuses, got other "nurses" to lie for them, and the place I was working at was worse than them. It was dirty and nasty and I wouldn't put a dog in that place. they even fired a friend on my assignment for being to friendly with the pts. - lucky for them it was ONE day before the end of her assignment and her bonus.

My final straw was when they messed up my paycheck by shorting me hours AND held out on my bonuses - telling me that it was MY job to talk with the supervisor to get it straightened out. Ah no, that is the recruiters job.

So no, I would NOT recommend them to anyone. At least not anyone who wanted to keep thier nurse's licence and thier sanity.

I am shocked! It sounds like you're talking about Aureus Medical! Anyway, Medstaff was my best assignment, and Whitney Walsh was so awesome! The pay was exactly what was quoted, I got the vacation I requested, and no problems. If I ever needed anything, she could have it done in about an hour!

I've been a travel nurse for quite some time now, and I happened across this agency for a specific job for which I wanted consideration. I am very patient, polite, professional, and conscientious when conducting business over the telephone. However, after talking to one of their recruiters, who was condescending, patronizing, pessimistic, and misinformed, I was forced to become firm and abrasive to express my dissatisfaction of their service. I'm just glad I was able to "nip it in the bud," rather than be on assignment and be left hanging.

    kwilc07,
I almost fell out of my chair when I read the Aureus quip... Right on the nose. Keep the zingers coming.

    RNHawaii,
Why not post a review on the site so that everyone can use your experience in evaluating offers? I look forward to reading your review.
