    Question Publication

    Hi all,
I want to start reading Nursing publications to get a grasp on the lingo. I'm making a career change, not a student yet. I need some recommendations please.

    Thanks

    Re: Publication

The most obvious suggestion that comes to mind is why not start with American Journal of Nursing or RN magazine then.... either one should give you a pretty broad spectrum overview of the profession and some food for thought.

"Directed to qualified nurses practicing in all settings. Combines articles on clinical practice, issues, and trends with fast-paced broad news coverage"

You can subscribe to either one through many online magazine sites, but it would be nice to support the costs of keeping this site up so we can have the forums still by using one of the links to Amazon.com found here to subscribe. Web space may be cheap these days but hosting & dedicated servers sure aren't!

The Incredibly Easy magazine is easy to understand good for the new and also for a quick refresher without the research stuff
