Again, you want the answer in ml/hr. Set up the equation so units cancel, 500ml/2000mg (Procainamide concentration), X 2mg/min (Order), X 60min/hr. You need to put in a conversion factor for min to hr because IV pumps infuse in ml/hr. Result 60,000 ml / 2,000 hr. Solve for ml/hr.

    500 ml x 2 mg x 60 min = 60,000 ml = 30 ml/hr
    (mg and min cancel out)
    2000 mg 1 min 1 hr = 2,000 hr

    Good Luck,
