Hi, Rachel! Nice to have you with us. As you are getting an associates degree from the Community College, you will have an RN; the BSN is also a nurse, but has more learning to use for management type positions. You can go on from an ADN and complete your BSN later on. And no, you don't need your RN before getting a BSN; I had been an LPN for YEARS before getting my BSN. It was a matter of having too much fun working in my case!Good luck!
