Any way to shorten the Clinical Timeframe?

I am brand new to the field and have made a few calls to universities. Like a few people who have posted here recently, I am also in my mid 30's with children.

Is anyway to take classes online which would shorten the amount of time in clinicals (the time in which many of us would have to quit our current job to find weekend/evening work)?

I guess what I was hoping is to find some program in which much of it could be taken from home or at least evenings, and then taking clinicals, but say 2 semesters as opposed to 5 or 6.

I can't imagine the quality you would get would be that of a more face to face atmosphere, but, for myself anyway, it probably means the difference to getting in or staying in my current field.

If you have any thoughts on this, please post.

Most ADN and BSN have 4 semesters of clinicals. some have evening clinicals. You need to check with the schools. I would never give up the hands on clinicals. This also gives you experience.
