    B.s. + Rn = Bsn?

I am interested in pursuing a nursing career. I am a little confused about the RN vs. BSN. I already have a B.S. degree in Science and was planning on taking an online route to RN. If I get the RN is it equal to a BSN since I already have a B.S. in Science? Any help is appreciated.

No the BSN is a different degree. I had friends who had a Master's in Science and they still had to go through the whole program to get their BSN degree.
