Hi! I am new here, so just feeling my way around.
I am 44 years old, live in Illinois with my husband and almost 12 year old son. I have been an RN since 1985 (wow I am old!) and obtained my BSN in 2004.
I have worked my entire career in a small rural hospital as a general med/surg nurse, ER, Supervisor, ICU and now Case Management. So I have been around the block a few times.
This seems like a great place to network and benchmark!

Well seasoned is a GOOD thing! I guess it really does sound better than OLD as dirt or something.
Just think of our life experiences and the stories we can tell!![]()
Welcome!!! I'll be 51 tomorrow, and I have my own opinion on aging......"better old than dead" (at this point in time, anyway). Hope to see you posting often!
Welcome....as for old from the mouth of my 7 year old when my husband turned 50 this year.... "wow daddy is reallllllllly old now...now he's 1/2 of 100 that's pretty old" I remember when I was 7 and I thought my mother was old at 32
