:waving: Hi, marathon! Glad to have you with us. I hope you haven't gotten TOO much lake effect snow in your area.

Good luck in school; how much longer do you have to go with the pre-req's?

    Hey Marathon,

Welcome to the forums. There are few secrets to nursing, you need to do your homework and focus on your grades.

I'm curious, is there much of a waiting list to get into your nursing program? I've heard 2-3 years is common with 4, 5, 6 in some places.

Can't imagine too many students waiting such a long time to "start" a program.

    Let us know!

    Best wishes,

hi nursinghummor....the program that im trying to get into has no waiting list because it is a PRIVATE university which is very expensive...but the nursing program in the public universities here are very hard to get into, like I have a friend who has 3.7 and he still didnt get into the program..they put him on the waiting list but the waiting list is not really a waiting list because they redraft the students so whoever is the top 50 gpa makes it.its hard to figure out their system.....to tell you the truth its very unfair because they said that their needing nurses right now then how come its very hard to jus get into the program...
