i'm now working psych emergency services nurse. part of my job is to be gatekeeper and keep people out who can't pay who don't really need psych hospitalization. last night we turned away a homeless man who was trying to get in "claiming" suicide and a woman drug seeking wanting admission for "detox". is there any website or textbooks out there that educate people on how to accurately detect people who are "faking" it to get into the hospital for their own reasons like shelter or meds?
in order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't mearly try to train him to be semi-human. the point is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly dog. :o
