| Super Moderator | International: Japanese Nursing Shortage 29 November 2004: Japan, Philippines likely to finalise FTA pact:"Under the labour framework, nurses and nursing care providers from the Philippines will be allowed to work in Japan, under special visas." http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stori...119565/1/.html Seem like everyone is looking for nurses, and looking to other countries for foreign-trained nurses as well. One idea I'd like about Japan's rules, is that nurses who come over must be fluent in the language before they can practice. America could learn a bit from them.
