My problem is....don't parents monitor their kids, or know what they are capable of doing?

I agree with your comment about parents monitoring their kids. We did fireworks every year when we were kids - had a big block pary followed by fireworks after dark - sparklers roman candles etc.. Parents were present and a good time was had by all and no one ever got injured. Criminalizing fireworks is just another way the secular progressives are trying to take control of American Life - but don't get me started on that!

I hear ya, happy! My folks always reminded me to NOT run with sparklers, the hazards of HOT objects, etc., etc. Geez......:frustrated:
