Well, all an all I enjoyed the article on several accounts. I'm an avid UT Longhorn fan & UTMB SON RN-BSN aluminus, as well as grew up in Austin, TX. Furthermore, I read his wife is soon to graduate form UT, Austin SON.

I, too, am a USMC Veteran. This brings up my small dislike of the article. No one, and I mean no one that has received an honorable discharge from the USMC likes to be called an ex-Marine, rather we prefer to be called Marine Veteran. Even though I'm proud to now be a Soldier Nurse in the Army Nurse Corps I cannot deny that in my heart... once a Marine, is always a Marine. Plus, the Marine Vet in this article is trying out for the TN Titans NFL football team, and not fighting for the Titans, LOL. His fighting ended upon honorable discharge from the USMC.

However, I'm very glad football season is around the corner [baseball bores me, LOL]. Go Cowboys!
