| Canadian Nurse group warns of diminishing patient care TORONTO — A group representing Ontario nurses is again warning of diminished patient care should staff levels continue to fall. The Ontario Nurses' Association says an estimated 30,000 registered nurses are eligible to leave the profession by 2008. Bofore then, says the association, the provincial government has to take action before a nursing shortage turns into a health-care crisis.
