Yech, i remember seeing something like this on discovery channel. The person they were interviewing said her symptoms were headaches and dizzyness.

Made me think of headaches in a different light. :stone

i work in a small hospital in the southwest and , yes its true , brain eating ameobas that work their way to the brain and cause hemorrage . the latest victim was a 14 yr. old boy, about 6 weeks ago ,who came into our er . we shipped him to a level 1 trauma and he was dead some 6 - 8 hours later . the ameoba was suspect to have come from our lake here in our little town .
