I'm a new member of this forum and would like to introduce myself. I'm NavyJim58 (not my age) and I have enjoyed reading the many posts contained within this forum since I found it a few weeks ago. I am a Navy Nurse married to an Army Nurse (she out ranks me). I am an ADN grad but also have completed a BS in Education, a Masters in management and a doctorate in Education. I value communication and life long education and look forward to sharing life experiences with the other members. Thank you.

PERMISSION GRANTED...WELCOME ABOARD!
Outstanding to have some more military folks join us. :hurray:
If ya'll need anything R/T this site don't hesitate to speak up. I'm a USMC Vet, therefore you & I can chew the fat via Sailor speak. Plus, I'm on active duty Army & an Army Nurse Corps officer waiting to get the official word on my promotion to CPT. The AMEDD CPT PROM BRD convened last 13-21 FEB. I'll be taking an all expense paid trip to the Sandbox the next 30 days. Anticipated return is APR 2008. I'll be taking my personal laptop in hopes of keeping in touch.
Please, send me a PM so we can chat up more. I'd be interested in ya'll's military careers.
BTW, I look forward to you & your's many contributions here.

Thanks MagRegC5, Cougarnurse and Neversettle71 for the welcome. I look forward to chatting with you all in the future. Jim
Hey there, NavyJim58!
Allow me to add my greetings to the others. I have a definite soft spot for military folks in general and Navy folks in particular. Two of my younguns are in the Navy - one is in the Gulf as we speak. I hope to see more of your posts when I visit this forum in the future!

Thank you MPICRAY........very few of my extended family have been in the military......one uncle was in the Air Force in WW2.......none of my other 6 sisters or 1 brother went in..........I am career Navy and my wife is career Army.....none of our 3 kids have expressed any interest in the military......personally I think it has to do with "need"......people like me when I joined who didn't have the money for college and wanted to better myself and go into the military to learn a job skill and see the world will join up.....people like my kids who already have it all don't need the military.....its been very good to me and my wife and we support it.....thanks, navyjim58
