Description:
At least 2 years Labor & Delivery experience required. One year of postpartum and nursery experience. Must be able to and willing to occasionally float to Med Surg unit. NRP, CPR and Colorado RN License required. AWHONN, FHMPP certification preferred.
RN registered in the State of Colorado. When first submitting candidates, include as least 2 references, a resume and a skills sheet.
Days of week will vary. Shifts are mainly 12 hours nights. 5 week assignment if traveler can start on 12/27. Due to the location of our facility and the variable census, we ask for a candidate that is able and willing to occasionally float to our Med Surg unit.
Our Obstetrics Department and Special Care Nursery provide family-centered services including high-risk deliveries, childbirth classes and breast-feeding support. A new regional outreach program and staff educational requirements are cornerstones of continued growth. hopital had 385 newborn deliveries in 2004, compared to 332 in 2000.
