    Connecticut Nurse turns writer

    Hi All,

I'm from CT an have returned back here after living away for about 20 years--part of which I was a nurse in the air force. Great opportunity!

I've always kept my CT license and am glad I did. Now, however, I use my nursing background to write fiction--about nurses! I do a humorous mystery series about a burned out nurse who becomes a medical insurance fraud investigator. Any of you in that field? I find the research facinating, yet disturbing that there is so much fraud in medicine.

I have a website: Lori Avocato - Home if you want to check out the nursing stuff. After all, laughter is the best medicine!

Glad to know your nursing helps in so many ways, Lori!
