Oh, how sad that these kids don't even get the chance to enjoy childhood. I've seen kids as young as 10 with anorexia, but they've all been victims of abuse. It is always sad for me to see this.

Anyone ever consider some of the atrocious 'fashions'?

No kidding. No wonder these kids feel such pressure to be thin. The fashions they are wearing are so revealing that every ounce of fat shows as a blemish. It's a real shame too. I wonder if the recent models' deaths will impact the fashion world at all. A few years back the models were encouraged to be thin, but not too thin. In the recent seasons that gaunt, anorexic look has come back to the runway. Hopefully designers will take notice and start allowing for natural feminine curves.
