Hey....got some info for ya! According to my pharmacy contact, CIC is indicative of 'Therapeutic Interchange' between two meds.

Just currious if anyone can tell me what CIC stands for. I've seen it on some bingo cards of meds and paperwork from pharmacy. No one I've asked at work has known what it means though.
Thanks!

Thanks! You'd think that would be TIC? Anyway... I thought it was probably something to do with that... I see it alot when they change Protonix to Omeprazole (I think those are the ones anyway...)

All I know is I called my facility's pharmacy, and checked with them. BTW....one hospital 'down here' loooves Protonix. However, PA doesn't cover Protonix. Soooo.....
