Question School Guidance From The Start

Hello everyone, I am posting this because I want to be a nurse I’m 26 and got into trouble when I was 18 (right when I turned 18) and have been in no trouble since. Well since the incident I have been VERY discouraged. I have not gone to school because of the incident. I’ve been told that you can not be a RN if you have a drug felony conviction that has been reduced to a misdemeanor and dismissed. (not expunged). I also have a burglary that was not reduced but was dismissd. . and that was at the same exact time of the drug conviction. I’ve called the nursing board and gone on there web site but Im looking for some insight of others that have ANY info . I am also looking for recommendation for schools and where to start from square one. I really have no Idea where to start as Ive been working from home for the last 7 years and am home bound with 1 child 4 years old. Any info will help thank-Q
