I'm new to the forum. I have been a LPN for 7yrs. I have Med/Surg, Burn Unit, and Wound care experience. The hospital that I work in is small. What are the best hospitals that I can work in, in California. (a small hospital setting)

I would like to work in the San Diego area. Really any area that's not bad or just a small hospital setting. Does anyone know the pay rate for LPN travelers on Med/Surg unit.

I lived in San Diego for four years while going to university and loved it. The hospitals associated with UCSD are nice, but I don't think they are necessarily small. One of the travelers that I work with now did an assignment at UCSD and enjoyed it, so it couldn't hurt to look into working there. I'm not sure about pay rates for travel nurses.
