California NCLEX

does california let forgien nurses sit for the nclex? if they do then i find it strange that excelsior grads can't sit for the california nclex but nurses graduated from a forgien school can.

California NCLEX

Yes, California lets nurses educated in another country sit for the NCLEX.

Excelsior grads are not 'recongnized' by the CA BON, due to the clinical requirement aspect. Graduates of foriegn nursing schools have to provide transcripts, etc.
