| Re: What really is Critical Care? Honestly, I try to figure the true definition of Critical Care every day that I'm at work because it usually changes based on the patients that we have that particular day. One day it could mean that I am taking care of someone on a million drips struggling just to keep him alive until the next shift and the next day I come in and I am taking care of 4 PCU overflow patients because their unit is full. Anyway you look at it they need to be cared for. I have been in Critical Care for 4 and a half years now. |
