| VAP free unit I work on CVICU and we have been working to improve or ventilator associated pneumonia rates. We use the vent bundle, etc. My question is does any of you work in the Open heart ICU that has been successful in completing 1 year of being VAP free. If so would you please share your information on how this was accomplished. We are currently gathering information from several hospitals but so far none have been specific to OH. We are also looking at practices in the OR. Thanks for any information. |
