I have been traveling with RN Network for over a year and a half- they have been very good to me, & my recruiter is excellent. PM me if you have any specific questions about them, or if you would like my recruiter's name & contact info.
does anyone have experience working for either Cirrus, Rnnetwork, or NIP (nurses in partnership)? good and/or bad feedback is appreciated.
my current contract is ending this month and i would like to switch to an agency that is a little more professional and informed than my current agency (Nightingale Nurses).
i would like to travel further than south jersey where i have been working in different hospitals for 2.5 years. my first preference was southern california (like to keep it coastal). i am very nervous about the big move, though.
thanks,
cougar

thanks amanda and cheryl! i have decided to go with RNNETWORK - my recruiter is Justin R. they want to send me to Kaiser Hospital in west LA. from everything i read on here i should stay away from Kaiser, but my recruiter says he has never heard a complaint from his nurses. i have heard that a nurse could end up with 10 patients because they use TEAM nursing (that's how they get around the nurseatient ratio).
i am leaving NJ to find a better environment for my nursing career - better climate, better ratio, etc. now i'm wondering if it is better anywhere or do all hospitals beat up their nurses?
thanks,
cougar
Did you tell them Amanda or Cheryl sent you? I hope so as there is a nice referral bonus for either of us if you did. Good luck with Kaiser; I almost did a Kaiser assignment in Modesto but decided against it at the last moment. I was told they have in their contract to be able to call you off or cancel your assignment whenever they want. But, I don't think you'll have any problems getting your hours in LA. I think travel nursing works great; if you get a bad assignment, you know it's only for 13 wks. and you don't have to get involved in the politics at all. Good luck on your first assignment! Keep in touch.

If you want to go to California, I would suggest you stay away from southern California. Pay and hospitals are better north.
