I am looking at nursing schools for my daughter Megan. She would like to get her RN (2 yrs) so that she will have a good source of income while she pursues a medical degree (either nurse practitioner or MD) She plans on going to Texas A&M College Station. Could you elaborate about how you got your RN online? Thanks Your servant David | |

| Re: Texas Nursing Schools I'm from San Antonio but not yet a student. I've applied at a couple of LVN schools so now I'm just waiting to see if I made it. If any one has any advice about the schools in SA please share. Any students from the Baptist Health System? All advice will be helpful. Thanks. |

| Re: Texas Nursing Schools Hi texasnurse ~ With the nursing shortage as bad as it is I wouldn't think that money would be an issue since there seems to be so many scholarships, grants and loans being offered to those going into nursing for the first time (I don't know if this is the case for those of us who would like an ADN to BSN program ~ if anyone knows please let me know). I do have a BA in another field and if you are young and have no family obligations, and, am able and willing to put all you got into a four year degree I really think that is the path you won't regret. Good Luck! |
