How about coffee and a hug.
I will see you all tomorrow. I am going in late today and will get off late. Then, the books will be my friend for the rest of the evening.
Good morning all.
Thank you for all your kind words last evening.
My Mom called no change from last night except dad got up and walked to the bathroom alone like nothing was wrong then back to his chair and a blank stare till she helped him to bed.
It is hard to hold onto; sometimes, the idea that those we care for the most are human just like our patients at work. I think my sister is taking it rougher than any of us, she is expecting her second child (a boy) any day now, and Dad in such a state, but as I said He did ralley around this time last year.
My other brothers and sisters are all too far away to help out but send us moral support.
Still need more coffee, I think I'm a gallon low.:44: what is the critical lab level for this vital nutrient anyway?

Proud Grancama!

Nutrient value? Not sure; haven't quantified the caffeine yet. Thanks for starting the Daily Thread, of course! Will be back later.

Mom's doing ok. Mind you, she's always been a sharp one; however, the ol' CHF and resulting fluid build up (which has crept up literally over the past 7 weeks!) causes her to become 'foggy'. She knows it, too. She has never been great on sleep, and is all bent that lab shows up at 5 am. I know the feeling.
It's a result of chronic bronchitis. Not sure when she'll be 'sprung', but will know more later.

Update: Cardiologist will be doing an Amio. conversion in am; mom has A. Fib., and Dig won't do it. No Beta Blockers, as BP is low (usual is 124/80, is now lower). Of course, mom is also anxious, which doesn't help, and no anti-anxiety meds for her per pulmonologist. Everything pretty much crept up on her over the past few years, and it's been over the past 7 weeks that things began to manifest their ugly head.
