Funny thing is that I've heard that there are very few openings in Texas. Many nurses I've traveled with have told me they can't get jobs in their home towns so they've resorted to traveling.

Can it be that bad if no one is leaving to allow new nurses to work in Texas hospitals?

Re: Unionizing Texas RNs

This moderator had been a Union member at one time......Unions can be useful, but then again, they can also NOT be useful. One needs to weigh the benefits. I have seen both sides.

:endof:
Obviously Mared is pro-union per choice, so please honor this. Differences of opinion are welcome, as long as it is kept CIVIL.
I'd appreciate it if we can all remember that.
