Re: RN "Super Union"

Oh but there is a lot of disention up in MA over this "super union" and its not official until the dues count is in on Nov 10th

Only 515 of nearly 23,000 MNA members could actually be present at this affiliation vote, less than 2% of the entire voting body. No absentee or remote site voting was allowed and only limited absentee balloting on the dues increase issue.

Only 390 members voted to affiliate with the national union and their agenda was made very clear at the meeting. Those with opposing views were mostly relegated to a separate room 300 yards away viewable only on a television screen, whose microphones were periodically shut off, or called ‘Out of Order’ when the topic of discussion strayed from the accepted program. Those who voted against the national made up nearly 1/3 of the total present voting members. Unfortunately, even with the MNAs vast resources, the Association was only able to muster 515 voters. Not exactly a massive turnout.

An NLRB case has been filed and members are upset, so don't count you eggs yet

Only 390 decided to affiliate? And opposing views get relegated elsewhere? I would question that whole thing. WHY are opposing views not heard, and WHY so few joining up? What is not being mentioned?
