I had developed a serious snoring problem according to my wife. But when I had my MI a couple of years ago and got cathed and stents put in. My snoring promptly stopped.

My husband snores so loud that you'd swear there was a whole forest of lumberjacks working in our bedroom. He is overweight, pre-diabetic and a has LVH. Basically a fatal heart attack waiting to happen ( and the cardiologist has told him so ) Is he being selfish yeah but on the other hand when I was at the lowest point in my life struggling with addiction/depression and recovery he stood by me side by side, shoulder against the world. I guess I can tolerate the snoring.

He is loyal, hard working and gave me a great son. I worry about his health but I cannot make him want to change that. I told him I was not going to nag him anymore about the snoring/health diet issue so that he could enjoy the time he has left in world. Then hand in hand We went and got some Life insurance. interesting is that as soon as I stopped nagging him he started doing the things the doctors were telling him. (Go Figure)

Anyways I read somewhere that there is a new CPAP device that is far less bulky than the old ones. Just a small cup that fits over the nose and a head strap - no big Darth Vader Mask . You might want to look into that.
