| new graduate in ICU in OK Hello everyone, I just found out I was accepted in to a BSN program yesterday and I am estatic. I am a male and my future plans are to become a CRNA. My questions: Is it going to be difficult for me to find a job in ICU as a new graduate. I really hope I can go straight into ICU(with some orientation of course), and I know it can be done, but how likely is it to find this job in OK (mainly OK city)? I would appreciate anyones knowledge on this matter, and perhaps someone out there has done this before? I was also wondering how much a new nurse (BSN) usually makes per hour, and if they would like to, could they work a lot of overtime each week? Thank You, BLT |

| Re: new graduate in ICU in OK New grad...I have a friend who works at baptist integris. she started in CICU as a new grad...but, she worked as a tech there her senior year of nursing school. i am not sure what they make though. also, try oumedcenter...they are great teachers. best of luck, ougrad |
