  | Re: Newbie nursing student at age 40 They do tend to keep you walking on egg shells. I really didn't appreciate that about nursing school. We lost one of ours with three weeks to go in the last semester. We got not explanation and were terrified that someone else would get drummed out before the three weeks were up.
