LPN transition to RN

I am getting ready to graduate with my ADN, and I have been an LPN for 4 years. Is this a hard transition, or do you feel that the LPN role is a good boost for the RN role?

Re: LPN transition to RN

I've known several former LPNs that got their ADN and I think you will do just fine because of the years of experience you already have as an LPN. Just keep an open mind in whatever your new job is after graduation, listen to your preceptor so you learn how they like things done in your department, and remember that you have additional responsibilities now that you're an RN. Congratulations and best wishes!

Have you given any thought to doing an RN to BSN or Masters program online after you start work? It should be something to consider

Unhappy Re: SAD L.P.N.

  I WANT TO START BY CONGRADULATING EVERYONE WHO HAS GONE TO FURTHER THEIR CAREER FROM L.P.N. TO R.N.
I SO DESPERATELY WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL FOR MY R.N. BUT I STILL OWE ON MY STUDENT LOAN FROM L.P.N. SCHOOL. I FEEL SO LIMITED AS AN L.P.N. AND KNOW THAT I WOULD HAVE MUCH MORE TO OFFER AS AN R.N. IS THRER ANYONE OUT THERE WHO COULD POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION?
