It can happen because there is a willing workforce elsewhere. There are too many people here who don't/won't work and expect to get paid for doing nothing. Their work ethic is awful. I live in an area with lots of low paying factory and farm jobs and people complain about the foreign work force that comes in and does those jobs but those same people wouldn't do the work themselves. My ex-soninlaw quit a good job at a barge company (shipping grain on barges on the river) because they wanted him to go outside in the winter and it was cold...excuse me but the river is outside. Heard others quit jobs because the boss told them what to do...that's what the boss is for. I have never had to have a boss telling me what to do because I did my job and worked hard. I think the work ethic here is for the most part not good. I don't like moving jobs out of the country but those business are out to make money also. But we as American citizens complain about companies moving out but continue to purchase products made by those companies because they make them cheaper elsewhere and we want cheaper.
