lpn refresher? or get rn?

Hello everyone, I am new here! I am an LPN, and have been a stay at home mom for the last 8 years. I recently applied at my local med center for a weekend clinic position. She wanted badly to hire me, but she recommended I take a refresher course. I have recently looked into them, and it might be better for me, and take the same amount of time for me to just get my bsn. I also have my BS in another area. My problem is the cost difference. Any thoughts? I really was not expecting to have to take any more classes as it was. I thought my license would be sufficient. Thanks for any help.

Re: lpn refresher? or get rn?

i would think on the job training or orientation at the job would be the refresher. if the refresher course take the same amount of time then go for the rn.
