LPN positons

I know there is a need for LPNs in nursing homes but what other type of settings can a LPN work in? Can they work in neonatal?

LPNs can work in a lot of settings depending upon the policies of the facility you are working for. I was an LPN and worked in hospitals, nursing homes, jails, I was a school nurse briefly and I also worked in jails.

Check with the neonatal unit you are interested in. Ask them if they would hire you as an LPN.

Hi there,
I think also that some Home Care Agencies employ LPN's. Good luck, I hope you find just the job you're looking for. Online LPN to RN Programs

It depends where you are nursing because where I am from the USVI LPN are allowed to work in neonatal unit but of course you must have the specialization such as neonatal ACLS and the necessary training.

In Erie Pa LPN opening are hard to come by.... and in fact is appears that
they are attempting to totally replace us with either CNA's or RN's
A few Doctors offices hire, but you better be young and cute.
