Home Degrees HELP

I need some help with knowing if I decide to do my LPN to RN at home, how should I do it. I am currently in a community college but am thinking about home school instead. I had an appt. with College Network and it seems to be ok but does anyone have any input in if this is a good way to go, and if it is cheaper to just go through Excelsior from the get go. Thank you. Cheryl
