    overworked hha

Hello! I am an CNA. i work for a home health company in chattanooga Tn. I want to know if there is a limit to how many patients you can see in one day? I am supposed to wok a 12 hour shift, I have been having 17 to 21 patients per day and working 16+ hours. Is that legal?

Contact your state labor department. Different states have different laws.
Also, did they ask you to take on the work load and you accepted. Or, did they assign them to you? That also may make a differance.

    Hi
Well technically its illegal, cause 16 is the max, but if you cannot finish your work on time that is a different story. Do you have union representation because the max number of residents is 10 worst 12. Thats it.... Looks like this company is exploiting cheap labor.
