I guess it depends...what do you want now? Do you want to return to nursing? Do you want to stay in recovery? Do you want to change your life? It takes alot of work, follow through and determination, but it can be done. But all of this is dependent on you...want you want and what you are willing to do to get there.....

Re: where to go

I just wanted to reply to your post, as I may have some experience, strength, and hope to share with regard to your situation. One thing that recovery has taught me is to deal with life on life's terms...and to be accountble for my actions. I think that the longer you wait to deal with this problem, the less credibility you will have when it's time to face the music. This problem is not going to go away. It's going to grow. Most of us have done things in our addiction that we are not proud of, and we ALL have amends to make. That's just part of recovery. It sounds like it's time to do the "next right thing." I will pray for you. It's not going to be easy.
