| So many regrets/so many questions I have been a critical care nurse for 17 years, and in the past year, I have become involved with a specific IV drug. This past Monday, I was drug tested and came up positive. I am a travel/agency RN and licensed in several states. I have already contacted the Ohio board to discuss my case. I know there is an alternative to discipline program, and I'm not really sure what that entails. Does anyone know if this infraction goes to the other boards as well? I mean am I allowed to work in KY with my current license? Do you ever get your license back fully with no restrictions? Does the stigma of impaired nurse follow your for the rest of your career? thank you. |
