There is now evidence that alcohol topically applied to the skin can in some people result in a postive etg. I found this on Dr. Skipper's web page. He is the Dr. who runs the diversion program for physicians and sugeons in Alabama. Also responsible for the introduction and wide use of this test in diversion and recovery programs
