Unhappy Need Help!!!!

I am an oncology nurse in Texas. I had 16 years of sobriety until recetnly. I also have autoimmune disease. My husband had been stealing my loratb form me. Of which I took 3 qd. After 2 times of asking for assistance with refills for the amount he stole from me, I falsified a Rx on my on behalf. I have lost my job without any peer review. I have sought legal advice, I am attending AA meetings qd. I have an appt with a LCDC today. I have notified Tpapn but have not heard back from them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have never been without work in my life. And do not know how I am to pay my bills and what is to follow. Please help>

Re: Need Help!!!!

First of all just take a deep breath...things are never as bad as we make them out to be....Are you still taking the Lortab? If so, you may want to get a note from your physician stating why it is necessary...are there charges being filed? If so, you will likely be able to plead it down to a misdemeanor...of fraud (like a bad check)----that is what happened to me....if that happens....you will likely be given community service and then the charges can be expunged...the important thing though is your sobriety....stay in today and know that things will work out. While I was waiting to reinstate my lisc....I worked at a car lot, retail, and a drycleaners...but I survived...and now I am working as a nurse again....things do work out...pray and stay in today...good luck and God bless!
