thinkin about goin to nursing school..

hey how you guys and girls doing. im a 20yr old male from philly. thinkin about goin to nursing school. currently in automotive school.. my dilema is i love cars to much to do it the rest of my life.. does that make sense to anyone? well anyway i would appreciate and insight you have for me on nursing school. and long-term benifits would greatly be appreciated.

I totally understand what you are going through...I felt the same way about acting, which is what I was studying before I decided to go to school to become a nurse. I loved theatre too much to do it as a profession. Nursing seemed like a way for me to help people, which I love doing, and I have heard really good things about the benefits (tangible and non) that Nurses get from their jobs. A good place to start would be to check out the nursing board website for your state-- that can give you ideas on where to get started, and provide more specific information that pertains to you.
