Do RNs get benefits if they work part-time? Also, do hospitals offer sign-on bonuses to part-time nurses? I've heard of part-time jobs where the nurse works for 24 hrs but gets paid for 36 hours. Are there really job offers like that, or is it too good to be true?

I have a weekend option job. Work 24 hours but get a 30% dif. on the weekend. It has full time benefits One thing you may want to look at and consider. Some benefits are based on you yearly salary. Life insurance and disability are based on yearly salary.
I have a weekend op. job but I work one more day a week at regular pay to receive full monitory benefits.
Just some thing to think about.
