Help!

I got intercepted for work and told that even though they thought it may just be poor documentation on a new computer system that there were possibly two incidents of 2mg of morphine not wasted over a period of weeks.....and possible an order not written for 4 mg morphine "weeks ago".....

I had been in the presence of marajuana three days before and stated to my employer...

Lets go on the premise that this urine is negative for opiates (not my cup of tea) but may be positive for marajuana?

My employer stated that an option would be to "resign for personal reasons" and i did that on the spot without submitting a urine.

The OC-health nurse stated that she took my statement as an "admission" although i interupted that charge as obviously taken out of context of what i said.

There was never a specific charge.......knowone told me i was being reported and with a handshake and no hard feelings i left my job and the people......that i really loved.

Heres the "HELP" part..........

I am about to literally lose my farm...........

i need to know how long it takes to be notified by a board or the typical notification time from first confrontation to recieving a letter from the board?

I live in NC and am on a fine balance.....I want to apply for a job as a traveller but i am waiting for two weeks now for a notification and am about to be forclosed on........

I have animals here and this is desperate......i have no support at all.

If anyone can give me any idea how long it took to get a letter.......

PLEASE!!

Re: Help!

I am in Tx. It took 6 months to get the first letter from the BON. I inmmediatly found another job, and cont to work. There is no reason for you to just wait. Get a job and work as long as allowed.

Re: Help!

I'm in MA and it took several months for the board to contact me - I continued to work while they did their investigation...

Re: Help!

I am in CA. I actually got a letter from the Board soon after I enrolled in diversion. The letter said they had received a complaint from my hospital that I had abused drugs and/or alcohol and that as long as I was enrolled in and on my completion of diverision, all records would be expunged. However, I know people who it took over 2 years for the board to contact them; they just kept on working the same as they always had.

Re: Help!

Continue working as a nurse until you hear otherwise...and comply with whatever the board orders...time will fly. Maybe since you resigned, info was not sent to board. Good Luck.
