Hi Everyone, I am not really new to the site but have not been on for some time - there have been some changes so I am finding myself navigating through...
I live in a resort community and work in the local community hospital here as well as our newly acquired sister hospital about 25 miles away. I am currently working in Nursing Admin with a focus on Clinical Quality, Clinical Education and Patient Safety while I finish my MSN in Acute Care CNS and Post Masters in Nursing Education. My background is mainly in ED, Peds and Newborn Nursery which I totally loved, but wrecked my shoulder doing (ED)...so as I recover from my second surgery, I study and read and fill my brain with all kinds of knowledge! :4:
So, I look forward to networking with the many nurses here!

What city are you working in? Do you work in management in the ED? Does your facility ever hire travelers (looking for possible locations for my next assignment......)?![]()
Hey- I live, work & play on Hilton Head Island. There is one hospital on the island. We (the hospital) have tried to reduce contract labor, but have and still have 'internal' contracts - mostly filled by travelers.
Here is a link to the site with mre info...
